2nd day on skis!!

Kept it flat and ez tonight

My day started with Luna deciding this morning was the perfect time to escape the yard...in 0° weather. So i had to run around the neighborhood to find her. Thankfully i was able to! Switched my original hike to a shorter loop. All was great until heading back down from Lake Haiyaha...the trail was well traveled, but not packed down great. I kept randomly post holing to my hips. Figured id just suffer through till i got lower...except the footprints completely disappeared at one point and there was no other options i could find where people created a new trail. So i turned back around and just made it an out and back

Ill have to come back in a month or so to try out Black Lake...and it might be time to invest in some snowshoes 😬
