TLDR: Very fun and learned a lot

The ski setup is finally ready to go!! I was happy with my pace but was definitely feeling muscles being worked that I don’t normally use lol. I cut my skins last night but I’m pretty sure I didn’t cut them thin enough because I fell over multiple times on steeper sections because my edges were being covered with the skin (or maybe my technique is just bad??). The skis are INSANELY light  which is great for the uphill but not good on groomers going down, it was super chattery but I expected this; however I’m super excited for using these in a true backcountry setting because I think they will be great. I’ll give it another shot tomorrow with the trimmed skins and see how she goes.
