16.7 AT miles. Snagged a shuttle to Around the Bend outfitters/hostel. Was hoping to snag my mail drop with contacts, but unfortunately USPS was late on delivery. Time to adapt. We took some showers, ate some veggie nugs, Joe played a little guitar, and then we were on our way. Crowd certainly seems to be spreading out. Crossed our first state Line into NC. Climbs seemed to get bigger and punchier. Got into camp a little before sunset and had a night of rain and wind, and a stake popped out. Two Spartan Ls to the Tarheels in the past week.
