Supposed to be four laps but they called it after two? Weird and confusing haha. Challenging conditions, 5 degrees air temp with maybe 70% humidity, deep powder outside of the skin track made passing people tough. With no time for a warmup yet again, I opted for the reverse strategy of last week and started out real conservative. Debatable tactic as it took a lot of energy to make passes in the pow.  And then, seemingly halfway through the race, it was over? Ethan said he heard their timing clock malfunctioned, but still kinda bogus after getting up before 5am to get out there in the frigid temps. I can only assume they won’t have full results again, thought I might’ve cracked the top 20 but who knows. Threw in a couple more tempo laps since I was already out there. Toes are still currently numb.
