Longest run in 4+ years (I think). There was a lot to process and unpack today. Ran flat and long to simulate, but who knows what conditions will be like in 14 days. Foot was acting up for the 2nd half and I had to consciously stay present in the moment so as not to over-analyze. Randomly picked up Steve McMillen on the trail for a couple of miles and really appreciate the company and conversation to break it up! Now time for a nap and lots of stretching.
