Started on gravel roads in Carroll County… then hit pavement shortly after getting into Tuscarawas County… and finally came down into the Tuscarawas River Valley, where I came across railroads and interstate highways and canal towpaths. It felt like coming into the big city — especially seeing brand-name grocery stores and fast food restaurants! I’m getting close to the end of this Buckeye Trail journey, but not until hiking another twenty miles through another winter storm!
