Heavy pack, extra slow pace to avoid overexertion related to altitude. Did everything in my power to keep the HR nice and low for the entirety of the climb and I think I am reaping the rewards. No headache, no lightheadedness/dizziness. We “sleep” at 18,300’ tonight and then shoot for the summit tomorrow morning as the weather allows. Looks like we got a 2 day weather window ahead of us🤞🏻 We both feel good, hopefully that continues through the night and into the climb tomorrow.
