Some good, some bad. Full report to come. Tired 🥱

Full report: beautiful day to Birkie! So thankful we got the last minute snow to allow a true downtown finish. Training was solid considering 4 months of interrupted sleep, complete lack of snow and new challenges of balancing a family of 4 and new work demands. Start was good and sensations good, two dark moments that required some serious grit to push through at 15k and 35k. Lost contact with groups that would have definitely put me into the goal fo a top 100. The gift of Mt LaCrosse training was invaluable and had me passing 3-5 every hill, but this was folled by another 10 passing me back on the descents. Lessons learned in fueling and pack management and the goal of sub 2:30 was accomplished. The cheer squad was on point as usual and we live to fight again next February for that elusive top 100. 2:28:30 for 142nd.
