First impressions: 😍🤯 Nnormal took my favorite trail shoe of all time and made it better! I was a little worried about the heelcup being uncomfortable for my Achilles when first putting them on, but it was a non issue. Love the 7mm lugs and more breathable upper. The lockdown is even better while somehow feeling roomier in the toe box. Only negative I can come up with is putting them on is even more of a faff than the original. But once they’re on they literally feel like an extension of your body. I never put on spikes today, in conditions that would have required them previously. Time will tell, but I think these soft ground focused shoes may be my choice in all conditions. The upper is amazingly comfortable while having the best lockdown I’ve ever experienced. The bigger lugs give some extra protection from rocks while still feeling incredibly nimble and precise. Just wow. Go give them a try at Seven Hills!
