I’m attempting to walk all of Georgia’s 32 four-thousand foot peaks in on continuous go.
The Brasstown Group is done but it put the hurt on me! My transmission  lost the hill climbing gear yesterday and it hasn’t been back. Arkaquah this morning was pretty standard with minimal elevation. Then Double Knob South... It’s a 1.5 mile DOWNHILL WALK to the bushwhack approach for this 4Ker. Then it gets thicker and steeper from there. I called for extraction early at Unicoi due to 18(?) different logistic, recovery, & weather factors. Waffle House for dinner twice.
