big effort considering basically no run training recently— turns out biking doesn’t translate too well, I’m quite sore. put the hammer down for first judd weibe loop, and a bit of backtracking, where I joined up with Anni and sent it up liberty bell trail for the first time this year. kept up a moderate pace on the up and were turned around by snow. rest was easy hiking, down liberty and judd weibe in oppo direction. strange effort, definitely need to get it through my head that trail running isn’t all about continuously running— esp in telluride it’s tough to manage the steep uphill efforts without it being mostly hiking. looking forward to plenty more running this summer
