Evening Trail Run

was really nice having dried trail all morning. After six or 7 miles we passed by Bernie Falls State Park where I went down the side trail to dump our trash get water food and chocolate milk for Troy. Ran the next 4/5 miles to try to catch back up to Troy. Met him at the road crossing where we hitch into Bernie. went straight to the Mexican restaurant got two giant burritos and a huge plate of nachos some soda. Then we went to the Church to keep charging batteries and do laundry plus take a nap. Once everything was charged, we did a quick resupply before hitching back out to the trail. as soon as we got back on trail the hordes of mosquitoes came out. The next seven or 8 miles we were swarm by mosquitoes the whole time. Brutal Miles. Once we got up onto the rim, the wind picked up which drove the mosquitoes off and we were able to set up camp in peace . Forgot to stop the tracker on the hitch so -10 miles.
