Thought I had a pretty good descent going until Paulo rolled up on me. Definitley braked a good bit going down, but didn't have a whole of choice, between the wet roads and lowered visibility to the rain, wasn't confident to really hammer the descent. Quads didn't feel too bad at the bottom, so I don't think recovery will be too bad. Now if I can run this pace DOWN Washington next weekend, I would be ecstatic. Probably most pissed that I stuck around for awards only to find out that the age group was 20-39 so I spent 45 minutes in the rain for nothing.
