10h went by, but if felt like several weeks worth of experiences 😆 So grateful to get to spend quality time in the mountains with friends where the only focus is putting one foot in front of the other and enjoying the view 🥰 Also feeling fortunate for this body that, despite the lack of endurance training, kept plodding along pretty happily 🍀💪 3L of water, electrolytes, and snacks 🍪 definitely helped. 

We set three different start times 🌌 I went with Banks in the second group and had a nice and steady first 4,000 ft of climbing 😊 Joined Will and Daniela, who caught up around, 12,400ft for the final push to the summit. I was the slowest, so I set the pace up the bootpack. We took a single timed 5min break and I focused on simply maintaining forward motion 😂 sometimes half crawling hahaha Distracted myself counting steps and figuring out how much elevation each step got me 😆 We overtook a bunch of people despite feeling like I was barely moving. Overall, a great time ❤️❤️❤️ The first 4000ft of skiing were amazing too ☺️ Then it got a little mushy, just like my legs.
