N GA Gravel Grinders ride out & back Talona Rd and up Talona Mtn probably harder than I should’ve with a big ride tomorrow. I blame Mr. Bill pushing the pace since he’s not riding Saturday.
Testing the shoulder on an Epic route including Bernard Mtn & Kitsuma recommended by Epic Cycles in Black Mtn NC. Long climbs with fast flowy downhills, except Kitsuma almost killed me with all the drops!
Assessing Helene damage on trails & bike shop at Black Mtn Home for Children. Most survived, just need maintenance. Grateful my shoulder recovered enough to ride on ebike mainly due to painkillers. 😬
Awesome new gravel route by Branden. Good catching up with Nathan and meeting Brian plus riding with Mr. Bill. Would’ve been great if I didn’t wreck at the end… again! Shoulder is f’d up. 😩
Not-so-easy ride with “Young Buck” Trey & Mr. Bill, but fun and a pleasure getting to know Trey. I do make it through the creek where he couldn’t. 😳
