Day 109: 17 miles to Sabbath Day Pond (1968.5) 

Our packs felt heavy loaded with our food and goodies given to us by the True’s. Our first climb up Old Blue Mountain was our biggest but the terrain was hard overall; roots, rock slabs, and plenty of slips. We finished the day by swimming in Long Pond then snacking for dinner at Sabbath Day Pond Shelter. We met a couple of sectioners here and had trouble sleeping due to the late night noise and adjusting back to trail time.
