After setting up camp in the boulderfield, we made an attempt at the peak because the weather was ripe. No snow to the keyhole but started shortly after. Ended up on a vertical snow face on the trough which wasnt terrible. After getting past the narrows and making it to the homestretch at over 14,000’, it got extremely dangerous and decided to make the call to turn back. First time being humbled on a peak like that. Crampons and ice axe should have been brought. Will be back for redemption
