The monkey stole my ice cream! 🍦 On our descent down there were many a monkey. A Chinese hiker warned us about the monkeys, so I took great caution to shield it from the monkey hoards. On the last bite, where it is just the tip of the cone, slightly softened, and full of incredible soft green ice cream, I considered giving this last bite to Trang, since it is her favorite. But this type of sharing took a lot of willpower. While I was grappling with the specter of giving away the best bite, a monkey ran in from behind along a railing, pivoted on my shoulder, grabbed the ice cream out of my hand, and flew away to a nearby tree. Quite the move. The monkey forced my hand in the matter.
