Train strike was still in effect until 6 pm. After waiting for over an hour through 2 train cancelations, we decided no trains were likely to come b4 6 and to walk/hike back to Manarola to kill time.

My mom took Via Del Amorre. Decided that instead of paying another €10 for a pass for me, I'd just take the longer route and meet her in Manarola.
We lucked out and got to the train station at 5:30 as a train was there, about to leave.

The stupid track over the bottom of the ridge was thru a tunnel.
