Good views, but feeling a tad more dull every day. Help nobo find lost phone. Bunch of battery left, listen to music/podcasts, David Bowie hits. Idea to do OCT alt rather than OR PCT?! Get to lake without mosquitos, dip. Follow horse, dodge pies. Nice camp at river, chat with section hiker John who sails, lived in AK. Nobo Goggins who once slapped an attacking rattlesnake shows up, gives good intel, says OCT good alt, he abuses REI return policy. Amber and another show up. Chill by river.
