Ellingwood ridge is teeeedious. 7 hours up, less than 2 down. Every time ridge direct looked nice and scrambly, it cliffed out. Alex ElHamahmy and I argued all day on up or down, and we were each right 50% of the time. Second half after what we called “green hill” was super fun. Ranged from class 2 to 5.easy all day. 14ers via non-standard routes is the only way to do 14ers.
