Stirling Ridge Traverse - Day 1

A beautiful sunrise into a beautiful climb to start the day. We planned to push to the town of La Chappelle today to have some real food and camp. There was 3 high passes we crossed and I was moving pretty slow on the ups, still not 100% from being sick. 

Eventually the long descent began, 2,000m into town. It was stunning but quite busy and the heat kicked in the early afternoon which made things pretty tough. Town was a welcome sight, I resupplies for the last couple days on trail and we got burgers for dinner. You beaut.
