i tried

checking off a few more peaks in the backyard.. brutal route, super steep, but the steeps were grassy and at least somewhat secure footing. ridgeline was a little of everything rocky, even a few scrambly class 3 moves.. descending was a riot.. almost made the poor choice to go straight down the gully really early but thankfully turned back and ran down the ridgeline… the grassy steeps are chunky and committing going down, and I had a few close calls where my foot slipped from one grass knob to the next, often like 2-3 feet below, but I somehow managed to stay on my feet the whole way down
