1st place 4:32.7, actually I'm not sure it could have been a second slower.  Fun stress free hard effort.  I know I can't go gas for an entire mile like I used to be able to.  Made a hard push for the finish with 650 to go.  Do not know how much of a gap I made, but it was barely enough with a lean at the finish.  Fun having past runners cheer me and others on, didn't want to let them down.

The event was for Coach Teri Haywood retiring this year after 36 years assistant coaching.  That is a lot of lives impacted.  Much respect for all the work she has done.  I look up to people like her who make an impact.  I hope to make an impact in people's lives like her some day.  Respect for all the teachers and coaches out there.
