Rare nowadays to do any exercise in the morning, so great to feel OK enough to get my arse out 'early'.  Took it steady as legs feeling the last 2 bike rides I've done and the weather is toasty (much better than running in the afternoon though). Ended up feeling great on return,  and managed even pacing for both halves, which is rare for this route.
