NYE loop

My favorite loop: Interlaken park -> lake Washington Blvd -> Seward Park -> Genesee Park -> Cheasty Greenspace -> Mt Baker park -> I 90 trail

New to me loop: 520 trail -> East Sammamish trail -> I 90 trail + bike lanes and community greenways

Incredible hike. Feels great not to have a pack on haha. Decided to take advantage of the doggos being boarded for another day to explore "paradise" ended up deciding to go up to Camp Muir, the farthest one should go before mountaineering gear becomes a necessity. Tried to stick to rock for the climb, ended up having to walk about 10 yards max of snow before 8200 ft, past 8400 ft there's pretty much no choice but well trodden snow, which makes for easy, albiet slow going miles. Decided to stick to the snow on the way down for as long as I could and got to about 7000 ft before I ran out of frozen real estate. Skyline loop was crowded but gorgeous, definitely worth a return journey
