One of the most beautiful, most accessible trails on West Maui.
The Ohai Trail Loop is an easy, family-friendly jaunt along the wave-battered cliffs of Papanalahoa Point, offering stunning views north into the Pacific Ocean. Along this 1.2-mile loop, hikers will enjoy views of Kahakuloa Head and the Nakalele Blowhole. During the winter, this is a great spot for whale watching—and several benches along the trail provide excellent spots to stop and take in the views.
This massive amount of stunning scenery packed into such a short walk makes this hike extremely popular for photographers, tourists, families, and more. Naturally, it's one of the most popular hikes on West Maui.
