A staple day hike from Daisy Farm Campground to the lookout tower on Mount Ojibway.
Hike across ridgelines, along boardwalks, and enjoy epic views from a lookout tower on Mount Ojibway on this classic day hike in Isle Royal NP. Starting at a dock and adjacent campground, the circuit pairs the Mount Ojibway Trail, Daisy Farm Trail, and a portion of the [Greenstone Ridge Trail]( to offer some of the best views on the eastern portion of the island. Accessible only by private boat, kayak, or canoe, the Daisy Farm Campground is Isle Royale's largest campground and the main trailhead to hike to Mount Ojibway. Staffed seasonally, the campground hosts a total of 25 sites with a 3-night maximum stay during peak season. There is no potable water, but vault toilets are available seasonally. From the campground, hike to the tower, then follow the [Greenstone Ridge Trail]( east to Mount Franklin. From there, follow the Mount Franklin Trail to either Tobin Harbor or Rock Harbor Trail - both terminate in Rock Harbor.
