Bridle Trails State Park: Coyote Loop Trail

Hiking Trail

Easy
3.27 mi
246 ft
A beautiful hike just minutes from downtown Seattle.

Bridle Trails State Park is conveniently located between Kirkland and Redmond in the Seattle metro area. While the state park's name derives from its popularity with equestrians, this 489-acre park is also a fantastic hiking and trail running destination within minutes of downtown Seattle.

The park is home to 28 miles of trails, but one of the most logical loop routes is the Coyote Loop Trail, shown here. This 3.3-mile loop offers mellow trails rolling through a beautiful PNW rainforest. With towering trees, green ferns, and dark black dirt, this is everything that you imagine when you think about hiking in Washington!

As you hike, make sure that you're courteous to the local equestrians, and yield the trail when you encounter horses.
