Bolton Backcountry Ski with Eric

Awesome day on the Catamount Trail with John Stanton-Geddes . Intended on making it all the way to Nebraska Valley and back, but it was slow going on the way out, so we decided to turn around with about 2 miles to go. It was a good decision. While it was fun skiing down in deep powder, it meant we had to haplessly swim uphill in sugar on the way back - plus both of our skins had frozen and were not sticking to our skis. Very fortunate that John had brought a roll of duct tape to lash them back to our skis to get back up and over. Came down Gardiner's Lane, which was so good I gave it another go after John went home.

Took a lap on the old race course, which unfortunately is unrecognizably eroded and ungroomed.
