Great crew out there today, lots of sun and happy folks pushing each other forward. Calculated start to get the legs moving (let’s go Nick and Willow for the three person squad we formed through the initial section!) before giving the climbing legs a chance to stretch out on the biggest uphill. Skipped the aid stations to keep things rolling and probably could’ve used a bit more water for those last three miles, but was happy with the descents and pushed it into the finish without too much cramping. Stoked to grab 36th overall! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience out there.

A massive thank you to Finn Melanson and Jules and everyone else who put this together this year. Was so much fun to try a real race for the first time in years. Hopefully they can keep this going for next year!
