Let’s start with the positives: Longest hike to date, with tons of elevation. Gear did well to keep me moving. Rained during the second half but it didn’t cause any issues. 

Not so positives: I basically blew out both my knees by the second ascent but didn’t bail out when I had the chance. I was moving well early but I was inching my way down at times to limit pain. My left quad started spasming by the second ascent too, so I couldn’t really push on the uphill either. Just overextended myself, but to find the line, you gotta cross over it sometimes. Need to throttle back expectations/next few attempts.
