Tried 6 times to get up the steep hill past Hacker's (going towards Raymondskill), but every time got about half way up then lost traction trying to go around or over the roots on that steepest section. On the last time, I just walked a few feet to where it let up slightly, and rode the rest of the way up the last steep part (same as yesterday, but only tried once yesterday). It would have helped if more people had hiked/ridden to pack the snow down, but seems most people have been going to Hacker's from Cliff Park way. I did make it up "The Steep" (up to the Knob) on the first try, so was happy about that.
