I went a little ways up the west side too but forgot to restart watch after snack... skied The Tusk first run of the season.  Big ice-covered rock slabs, a small but challenging drop-in entrance, water, etc.  Definitely silly.   It requires a really glued-on snowpack, it gets super undermined by water.  Those icy rock slabs are tough because if you misjudge snow depth and slip or catch an edge on rock.  Pretty pleased i ticked that one off though and have an idea of how it would come into better condition.   Photo is from traversing under the wee cliff band on the way up
